Jeremy Spurgeon began his music career at age 8 when his Dad began teaching him to play bluegrass songs on the banjo. After discovering electronic music in the early '80s, Jeremy began teaching himself the keyboard and sampling with the Casio SK-1. Soon he began writing original tunes and performing with his cousin Lon Spurgeon. Jeremy has devoted his life to learning new instruments and genres of music and has performed in numerous bands. Now he is dedicated to sharing his love for portable instruments and mobile devices and helping others discover the joy of music through this magazine, social media, and the website.
